JETRO will Work Together for the Development of ICT Sector
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Japan External Trade Organization (JERTO), the national trade and investment association of Japan, will work together to increase Japanese Investment in the ICT sector of Bangladesh. A meeting was held between BASIS President Mr. Shameem Ahsan and the country representative of JETRO Mr. Kei Kawano at Bangladesh office of JETRO on February 5, 2015. BASIS Secretary General Mr. Uttam Kumar Paul and Joint Secretary General Mr. Mostafizur Rahman Sohel were also present.
